Operations Support Coordinator

IG Wines is offering an opportunity for a bright and driven candidate to gain practical experience in the fine wine industry. Immediate start preferable.

The role: 

The candidate will gain valuable experience and exposure working in a fine wine merchant. The role will involve supporting the operations team with day-to-day tasks and assisting on various projects. This role reports directly to the Director of Operations.

Activities: 

Setting up and uploading client accounts
Contacting clients with account updates
Assisting with stock checks
Overseeing client deliveries, including providing quotes etc to the sales team and clients
Liaising with clients about special deliveries
Providing warehouse with required information for landing stock
Assisting with raising, checking and sending invoices and purchase orders
Providing periodic reports and feedback on current issues

Candidates must be able to demonstrate: 

Be customer focused
Strong attention to detail
Manage a number of tasks and projects at the same time
Ability to deliver results under pressure
Be an efficient and accurate administrator
Excellent organisational skills
Good knowledge of MS Office
Experience in either the wine trade (or other luxury good) and operations preferred
WSET qualification preferred but not essential

Trade Sales Manager

The role

Buying and selling throughout the global wine market
Identifying and develop new business opportunities across the UK, Europe and Asia
Account management
Analysis of market trends

Candidates must demonstrate

A flair for trading
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to meet financial targets and to exceed them
Excellent verbal and literacy skills
Excellent organisational skills
Good knowledge of MS office
Willingness to attend client tastings in the evenings and occasionally on the weekend

Salary

Competitive salary with OTE of £80-£100k

The role: IG Wines is offering a three month internship for a bright and driven candidate to gain experience in the fine wine investment industry. The candidate’s main responsibility during the placement will be to support the logistics team.
