Private Fine Wine Sales Executive

IG Wines is a fast growing and dynamic fine wine merchant that offers specialist advice for fine wine collectors and investors. IG Wines concentrate on the finest wines that constitute the backbone of collecting, investment and drinking, focusing on Bordeaux, Burgundy, Italy and other leading areas from the rest of the world. We focus on developing leading proprietary software and technology, advanced portfolio management tools and the first trading universe. We provide an environment where our clients and employees can learn about fine wine by curating interesting content, editorials through events and our online magazine.

The role:
IG Wines is offering a fantastic opportunity for a highly driven, self-motivated and experienced sales person to join a dynamic and fast growing fine wine business. The candidate will develop their sales skills within the fine wine industry to build relationships with clients, giving them complete confidence in their fine wine transactions and portfolio management decisions. IG Wines is growing at an exciting pace and is looking for a talented individual to make an impact and be an integral part of the growth of the company.

Main Accountabilities:
Responding to sales enquiry’s
Supporting clients with fine wine selections, both for drinking and wine investment
Following up with clients with email subscriptions
Contributing ideas to sales campaigns
Managing day to day relationship with clients
Sales business development
Inspire customer loyalty and repeat business

Position requirements:
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and literacy skills
Strong history of sales
Ability to meet financial targets and to exceed them
Sales in wine preferred but not essential
WSET qualification preferred but not essential
Outstanding negotiation skills
Good knowledge of MS Office
Highly organised
Willingness to attend client tastings in the evenings and occasionally on the weekend

Salary:
Competitive salary with commission
