The Cote de Nuit is the epicentre of great red Burgundy and its leading wines have outperformed Bordeaux in auction houses and throughout the global market over the last three years, becoming hugely popular in Asia, the fastest growing fine wine market in the world. In the same way that the last 20 years have seen incredible growth for those who have stockpiled great Bordeaux, Burgundy fanatics are now experiencing a similar trend. However the difference is that Burgundy’s greatest wines are notoriously difficult to source and the leading names simply cannot produce enough wine to supply the spiking global demand.
Earlier this week we offered part one of an outstanding single bottle Burgundy selection of leading producers. Today we are pleased to offer part two, a selection of cases from vintages spanning from 1993 to 2011. Most of these are in bond, while some are duty paid and of superb provenance. The selection includes cases ranging from £240 to £8,000, displaying the depth and breadth of red Burgundy. The selection has been curated to include some of the leading plots from; DRC, Armand Rousseau, George Roumier, Frederic Mugnier, Joseph Drouhin, Domaine Faiveley, Jean Grivot, Ponsot, Meo-Camuzet, Anne Gros and Alain Hudelot Noellat. This collection provides the opportunity to source truly great producers in their leading plots, wines that will be extremely scarce in the years to come.
Please do not hesitate to contact us; we would be delighted to provide you with further information and advice on the wines listed here and Burgundy in general. Quantities of these rare wines are strictly limited and will be offered on a first come first served basis.
